I opted for the FX+; I think the 7200+ caters to the segment that prefers a more-upright riding posture. I use my FX+ as a commuter - I have Ortlieb Bike Packer Plus Panniers that easily attach/detach from the included FX+ rear rack. My commute is +15 mi/ea. way and I haven't had any problems* with soreness with this bicycle, even with 65 mi. rides (*once I swapped out the Bontrager saddle to a Brooks B17 Special).
