"reasonable time" is kinda vague, but. The way I see it, you still have to stop. Nothing much has changed. But it gives you legal reason to go thru if the light doesn't change. Stop sign means stop as always even though the writer didn't mention a thing about it.

Don't care much for the writer's style. It was written 'to sell'. Not written to dispense information. This is why I no longer subscribe to any newspapers. Journalists that don't do their job and moreover journalists that write for an agenda(not the case in this article)
