Hi, all! I usually post over in the Clydesdale forum, but I'd like to check in over here about a "new" bike I picked up today: a 1983 (?) Trek 620 that has been re-muddled (like "re-modeled", only messily) along the way.
The saddle is at least close to what the original saddle would have looked like, but I know that the handlebars are Just Not The Right Thing for this bike.
Wheels say "Ambrosio 19", and have 700x28 Michelin tires on them.
Three rings up front, 6 in the back; judging by the rear dérailleur things were updated in the 90s?
I'm planning on using this for century rides and light touring.
Comments (and, of course, compliments) invited.
