I ride in the dark.
Once or twice a week I go out for an early morning (<6:00AM) training ride on a weekday. For well over half the year that means I'm leaving in the dark. Also, I try to commute to/from work at least one day a week, and again, during at least half the year that means at least some part of that round trip is in the dark. And then occasionally I lead a fun training group ride at night.
For most of those circumstances I'm on my Bridgestone, which has the massively bright Niterider MiNewt Dual headlight up front and a pair of generic red blinky lights in the back (one on the seatpost, the other on the seatpack).
Occasionally I'll ride my Strong, which has the wonderful Planet Bike Superflash clamped to a rear seatstay, but only a barely-adequate no-name white blinky thing clipped to the handlebar (definitely a "be seen" headlight, barely does anything for lighting up the road). So I usually only take that bike in the morning when I know it'll be getting light soon...it's a much more rewarding bike for hard challenging rides, but less optimal for full-on Nightime Riding.
