Cleaned it up today-soap and water only-and changed back to the "original" rear wheel. No more dork disc! All little Goof-Off and the paint scrapes are gone. Looking better and now I see what the future holds.

I think I will retain most of the current parts list initially. My guess is that it was originally built with Campagnolo and this configuration came a couple of years after purchase to ease climbing the steep stuff. The serial number dates the frame to 1975.
