I’ve had two sets of Formula hubs and I consider the quality to be way below Shimano.
Are these hubs as good as a Shimano Deore LX? I can’t find any information on them anywhere.
If I have doubts about a part's durability I won't buy it. On the plus side, high flange hubs are nice for building a wheel with more than 36 spokes as there is more metal between the spoke holes. If the wheelset is inexpensive enough they maybe, at the least, a good spare wheelset.
