everyone says leaders fit long. theyre right. the 722s steep seat tubes push the top tube forward an average of 1.5cm beyond the norms from cannondale, cervelo, and others. you can set the saddle forward, sacrificing comfort, or you can set the saddle back, making fit tricky. if you sit back, you can go a little smaller to get the right reach, but the head tube will be way too short, or you can go a little bigger to get the bars at closer to the right height and the reach will be quite far. the far reach results in needing to use a shorter stem. the slack head tube calls for a longer stem to get your weight over the front wheel. as a result, these frames will not climb or take high speed corners as well or as comfortably as others. if you dont much care about doing those well or comfortably, dont sweat it.
the problems are even worse with the kagero and the cinelli mashes. the seat tube angles are steeper still, getting into the 75.5 76 range even in the large sizes, and the headtubes are cut even shorter. if you are doing a triathalon, these frames are very well suited. if you are not and you didnt pay shop cost, then at least you look like a boss.
tldr: my fitment calculator.
