My most interesting crash happened a couple of years ago. I was turning right at an intersection that I have always used. All of a sudden, the next thing I know is bang, I down on my right side. I get up shocked but with only minor road rash on my elbow, knee and scrapes on my right brifter and pedal. I arrived to work a mile later and I sure felt the shock effects of the crash.
I couldn't figure out how I went down. Was I going too fast? I don't think so. On the way home, I looked at the crash corner for oil, water, debris or anything else that could have caused the crash but found nothing.
To this day, I slow way down while turning right at that corner.
