What was Shimano thinking?
The proprietary DT shifter base is bad enough, Why did they also tap the shifter bosses in a non-standard size? They're not M4, M5, or 10-32. If I knew what they were I could adapt a standard shifter to fit these damn things! I'm about 10 seconds away from running a M5 tap through them and be done with it.
