I've just replaced the 10 speed MS shifters on my Felt F85 with Shimano 105 5700. The main issues I had were that they were quite noisy in operation and the front shifter had far too much throw shifting to the big ring. I also found that the trim function in the big ring moved the mech a bit too much so there'd be rubbing with and without trim. Otherwise they were comfortable and shifting was crisp and very usuable. Perhaps they work better with MS mechs? The 5700 shifters are much more subtle and smooth by comparison and the trim and throw on the front shifter is perfect.
