True, I always either wear a pair of sunglasses or a pair of (decent looking ) safety glasses depending on how light/dark it is out while I'm riding, I also wear gloves (after crashing earlier this summer and slicing up my hand pretty badly). But those things while still very helpful and usuful, just aren't as important as a helmet.
