This is actually legal in Tennessee if I'm not mistaken. There's a time limit, & if the light remains red, you treat it as a stop sign. I wish they would do this in Georgia...there are several lights I take on a daily basis that don't recognize my motorcycle.

i'm not going to blindly follow rules or signs or marks on the road just because they are there. we are cognitive reasoning beings, we should act appropriately according to the situation.

the only difference between "riding" and "poaching" is an inanimate metal sign. all other conditions are the same.
