From what I know, which isn't much with respect to bikes, the supersix is a decent entry-level or maybe mid-level CF bike. It's in my price range. Likewise, a roadie should be a good mid-level steel frame (above soma, below serotta) and also in my price range. I have a leaning toward steel (though haven't ridden any in years) but want something that is an upgrade from my aluminum caad - upgrade in the sense of ride quality without the loss of responsiveness. The supersix seems to fit the bill. What I'm wondering is if a mid-level steel frame will give the same responsiveness as the supersix with a similar level of ride quality. Maybe it can't or can't without spending a lot of money. That's what I'm trying to figure out.
