See there is your mistake...the SuperSix was Cannondale's top end bike just a year ago (well the HiMod version)...and is a Pro quality frame that has been ridden in the TdF and all the other Pro races. Cannondale has a wonderful model where they simply move a frame down to a lower price point when they come out with something new. The CAAD7 won (well was ridden to a win) on the Giro later to be replaced by the CAAD8...now the CAAD8 is an entry level bike with two more levels of AL frames above it. If the SuperSix fits you can upgrade it over time with higher end components if you like and they won't be out of place on that frame.
