There is a lesson I learn from this after all this time spent here in this light support group (forum), and that is the fact that when it comes to light addiction, there is no cure but there is treatment. So off I go buying another light (I'm eyeballing two Gemini Xera).

You never know when you're going to need one of your lights. The GF and I were on vacation last week, and hadn't planned on riding after we flew down to the condo her family owns. I took one of my commuter backpacks and one of my extra lights (a Terralux) as I figured we'd be walking after dark. We ended up renting some bikes, and used the light while riding home after dark. I felt underilluminated (and missed my latest light purchase), but we were much brighter than any of the other riders I saw down there.
