We need a support group
Or at least I do.
For people addicted to buying lights.
I have 5 blinkies, 4 flashlights, a magicshine, a dinnotte tailight, two pb blaze headlights and some older blackburn stuff.
But I feel like I need more
Granted, it's not all on the bike at the same time but it could be!

If we had a support group, would I be able to get advice on things like what sorts of boxes are best for storing the lighting systems that are not in use?

My stock setup is 2 headlights and 2 tailights, but I also have 6 bikes.. Once you start down the road to addiction, you are always on the hunt for better and brighter.. Of course it will never end,the search for the holy grail..
When I first started riding at night some 25+ years ago, this was what I used.. A wonderlight, about as bright as a weak AA maglite.. I imagine it was in the 10-20 lumen range.

that wonderlight sounds wonderful.. HAHAha. i think its only an addiction when you have more light sets than bikes. so if you have triple digit number of bikes you're still okay

You're going to be like the guy who tilted the earths axis with his accumulation of Nation Geographics, except you and Colleen are going to have more light than the rest of us.

There is a lesson I learn from this after all this time spent here in this light support group (forum), and that is the fact that when it comes to light addiction, there is no cure but there is treatment. So off I go buying another light (I'm eyeballing two Gemini Xera).

My wife was looking over my shoulder as I scrolled through this thread and she said that the bike on the right is what our child trailer should look like. When I bought the trailer, she said, "It had better look like a Christmas tree on crack when our daughter is in that thing." My response was to grin widely.
I love my wife. She encourages my addiction.

. You never know when you're going to need one of your lights. The GF and I were on vacation last week, and hadn't planned on riding after we flew down to the condo her family owns. I took one of my commuter backpacks and one of my extra lights (a Terralux) as I figured we'd be walking after dark. We ended up renting some bikes, and used the light while riding home after dark. I felt underilluminated (and missed my latest light purchase), but we were much brighter than any of the other riders I saw down there.
