Actually, I believe that you are correct with the first comment. I am looking to take it to a powder coat refinisher and (if I was listening correctly) they are going to cut masking stencils on their plotter and paint the graphics on the base powder coat. They will then do a powder clear coat over it all. It can't be vinyl because they would melt at the powder curing temps. Of course, they do offer the ability to do a liquid clear coat over vinyl decals, but that would not be as durable.
