I'm in taiwan for a business trip at the moment and am thinking about getting a good road bike while i'm here since it'll be a little bit cheaper considering that many big names are manufactured here.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are certain brands better than others? Which brand has the better bike in the price range i've specified?
