Bikes: 2 many 2 fit here

With that said, I don't want to exchange a crappy old bike for a crappy new bike and throw an extra hundred down the drain. I only have to go 2 miles max at a time, but make several of those trips a day and don't want to arrive in a huff because I've been carting a clunker around the city. I'm leaning towards the Draft, so I guess at this point my question is does anyone see a reason NOT to buy it?
I'm inferring that you are not inclined to doing the maintenance yourself. That's fine, but I seriously doubt your bike is "reaching the end of its life". All bikes need maintenance at some point, and I don't think the wear parts for your Schwinn are any more expensive than those for a new(er) bike.
