They used to be reputable. I don't know what happened to them, but i bet that was sort of like Haro too. They were a great company, making great products, and then all of a sudden they were off the radar. Hell, Dans doesn't even stock DK stuff anymore.
The reason you do not see DK at Dan's doesn't have anything to do with quality. They do not permit their products to be sold online anymore. Only at authorized dealers. It is supposed to help out bike shops. I personaly think it is a mistake, if kids don't see it online, they don't know it exists. Since they started this policy, our sales of DK have dropped way off. I know they got out of the distribution business and have downsized, so there may be more to the story.
