Interesting question...

The owner said 84'ish. The bike is a Litton re-spray, and you can't really make out the serial number anymore. I actually just called him to ask if he had a record of it, and his records were lost in a harddrive crash. He remembered it being earlier...like a 75'. I kow that's not right because it has a cinelli BB shell, which i don't think even existed in 75'. I suspect that the confusion is the original owner had a few Sachs...and Ed might have gotten mixed up on which one I have. The 84'ish estimate jibs with what I see.

Another cool thing is that Mr. litton told me he has a Silca that had been sprayed to match this frame...and which he had never gotten back to the owner. He's going to send it on to me, which is quite nice of him. Great guy from the phone call.
