- I have a few bikes with Shimano. I think 4 or 5. It has its place. This stuff works a LOT better than the c-record stuff. It looks blocky and unattractive, but it does work well. My Team Miyata has record and c-record, and I debated switching the groups between the two for appropriateness, but I ride the Sachs more and left the Shimano on it because it works better. This DA 7400 works as well as the earlier NR and SR stuff, I don't want c-record on it and I don't want to spread it out to 130mm with Ergo...so Shimano 7400 it is!

It still has the Campy touches with the calipers and headset

One thing I'm thinking about doing is painting the flutes red.
