I can't do comparisons since I read OTHER people's comparisons before buying my CycleOps Fluid2 trainer. What I can say is that I am sitting 25 feet from the trainer, my wife is using it, and I am computing while watching TV. No, it's not loud. Very nice, very sturdy. Make sure you get the
front wheel support, too.
