I'm a die-hard C&V (Classic & Vintage) rider, and that's where I post on BF. The vintage bikes don't have these threadless stems so there is no flip it and slam it like everyone here talks about. Also, most of us C&V riders do not have our bikes set up for an aggressive riding position, we tend to keep the bars about 1" lower than the saddle.

I've been ridding road for 40 years and the newest bike I own is a 1972 so I doubt I'll be buying a new bike very often LOL. I think there is a lot of younger folks over here, than the crowd I deal with in C&V...... I've really wanted to try a new bike for a long time, and see what all the hype was about, and so I have. I really enjoyed the bike on the original test ride which was about 15 minutes. During our good weather season I ride about 100 miles per week, and may be able to increase that number with this new bike.

I'm very excited to get this new bike out and for a good test run.

So for you to see where I've come from, this has been my go to bike so it will be a huge change for me. Two VERY different machines!
