Tweaked the bar position a bit, rotated up and raised 5mm. Top cap is now directly on stem. No more penile appendage. Took for about 15 mile ride, and am really pleased with the new setup. Charge Spoon saddle is real comfy wearing just cotton low rise briefs under sweat pants with no padding, so should be good for longer rides with padded bibs. The ride isn't bad on smooth roads with the aluminum fork, and the bike has a nice buttoned up feel to it. Maybe I'll get a carbon fork and better headset for it one of these days, maybe not. Right now I've got super spinny 43 x 18 (63 gi) gearing on it, so this is going to be my winter spin workout bike. Got home and all the chainring bolts were loose. Wondered what all that crunching and grinding noise was about. One bolt wouldn't tighten or loosen, and the nut tool kept slipping so I had to drill it out. Replaced them all with a spare set of knurled chainring nuts and bolts. That's all for now, carry on.
