Flame me if you must! Chinese postal bike!
Didn't have a camera with me today.. Met a gentleman on the path
ridding a Chinese postal bike from the 30's. Brand new. Found it in
his uncles garage after he passed away. He had spent several years
in China as a missionary in the thirties and early forties.
They put new tires on it, the originals looked OK, but he didn't
trust them.
It has an inclosed chain, drum brake on the rear, pinch on the
front, rod activated. Rack on the back. It has a park brake under
the seat. It has a plate in the front part of the frame triangle
with a Chinese symbol cut out of it. It has a "y" kick stand.
Full fenders, generator and lights front and rear. It is red and
blue, red frame, dark blue fenders and rack.
I sure wish I had my camera with me.......
I hope it see him again and I will have my camera..
