Hi everyone,i am new to this sport, started with a Avanti Hybrid(not a decent one, but a fairly good one) being riding it in the past 7 months and really enjoy it so far. I use it for travelling to Uni mainly. So i have finally decided to get my first road bike, but since i never own one before i really have no clue what kind i should be looking into. So i really need your help . Unforutnately my budget is low hoping to get a new one around $700-$1000. i did some googling myself, figured that if i wnat to go with the big names like Giant i could only get the TCR(2,3)and DEFY(3) series. So can anyone please give me some idea? out of these two series which one would be better for a starter in the long run? or any suggestion on other brands? (would be great if you can also list out the price Thanks Thanks a bunch in advanced

Edit: i know defy3 is for the long distance, allowed a more relaxed body position, but also heard TCR series would be better for young ppl in the long term? a big why?
