I've ridden on some of the Performance branded tires for a couple of years
now on two different bikes. They are very good for the money (at least
the ones I got). Mine state made in Thailand, so not Cheng Shin, I think.

They are better tires by far than the Cheng Shin branded stuff I've seen.

That said, they are not as good as Michelin Carbon's, or Cont GP's, or
Schwalbe's for round town and touring. But you have already seen
for yourself they cost a lot less, and come in a variety of sizes.

Performance changes the people who contract their products from
time to time, so YMMV.
