PS. For NYC, i'd recommend the following

Balaclava
Gloves: 3 layers. Wool liners, 3 season long finger gloves, and shell (usually sold with 3 season gloves)
Baselayer: LS for 40 and below. Optional SS for 40 and above
Jersey: SS. Optional LS
Jacket: like the one Capo makes
Arm warmers, knee warmers, wind proof tights. Optional leg warmer
Toe covers, shoe covers, neoprene shoe covers when it dips below 20.
