im looking at these handle bars

to go on my quill bike stem that looks like this one

would i be able to to "thread" the whole thing through the stem? i know that kinda sounds confusing but aperently it the only way you can change the handle bars with those stems this guys does it here.

it seems like the drop down might have to many sharp turns.
