Ah, the presence of greenery threw me off, but I know that location well. Highline Rd. is the first major road that you come to upon entering Tehachapi via Willow Springs Rd. I live a few miles down, just off of that road on the South side, in the hills.
I love your movie sites tour ride idea. I've seen a few of them by car, but it would be even more rewarding to see them all by bike. That really gets my inner history buff going! I will mark my calendar. I will contact you for more information via the link on RUSA. Thanks for the invite!
