Bikes: 2003 Steel Fuji Finest

P-clips actually work pretty well for light loads. I used them on my last bike. Do a search and you should find some good info. You could also use a seat post rack, but IMO those look out of place on a road bike. Think ahead about how your going to mount whatever is your going to mount to your rack. I may swap mine out of a topeak rack so I can use one of their nifty quick release bags for the same purpose. Plenty of people are happy with just a backpack and a bungee. You'll probably have heel-strike issues with a pannier setup on that bike (I do on my Fuji) so maybe want to go for a sweep back style rack if you decide to go with Panniers to increase your chances. For myself, I'm looking at the axiom journey (http://www.axiomgear.com/products/ge...-rear/journey/) and the topeak supertourist (http://www.topeak.com/products/Racks...larRack_w_o_sp)
