What do you think would happen if I enlarge the hole? I mean, would it crack? (I have 2 cinelli alter stems lol)

I heard the alter was re-released sometime ago with a 1 1/8 option. Never seen one anywhere online. Maybe someone else has and could link me

Edit: nevermind, this isn't going to happen anytime soon. Boring it out wil most likely ruin it and kill me in the process. A reducer is hard to find and ugly.
I'll just save em for another bke or maybe buy a new fork sometime this year.
