Yeah, it's modern "vintage". Schwinn 7-speed, something like 44/14-26-ish. It's not real quick, but I make my urban assault commute in 45 minutes or so - six miles with several really long lights across 4-6 lane roads. The current tires are 40 PSI. Actually, it cruises OK. I'm not in a hurry. I got the bike from my brother's widow - it was chained up outside his apartment. I've commuted in the past on road bikes and MTBs. My MTB kept being "borrowed" by my now 19 y.o. as he kept trashing his bikes!! Anyway, it gets the job done - not quickly but in style!! I also ride a motorcycle so convincing She Who Must Be Obeyed (SHMBO) that I need a different bicycle is not happening until after the bathroom remodel!
