There are similar shops in other areas, and while bike and parts prices are closer to average, the labor rates and general attitude are a joy.
A bargain it is no doubt. The other bike shop wanted 45 dollars to do the same thing. Heck even it was 20 bucks I would have thought it was a deal. It's where I got my Mega-Range set installed last time, I don't think I was even charged for labor on that. I am checking out another bike shop this weekend. Guy has 1000s of old bikes he's collected over the years. No idea on his labor cost are but no doubt it'll be interesting. My friend wants a cruiser too for our Arizona adventure so we are going to get a used cheapie and set it up for off-road duty.
