I read through this thread trying to see both sides of things. I wish the OP the best in getting through these tough times. It sounds like there are some deeply seeded relationship issues that go beyond cycling, and I doubt that many of us are qualified to offer any real advice on those. I think that the first sentance outlines the major social issue in many countries (particularly the U.S.) today. Entitled? The entitlement mentality has driven a lot of the "tough times" that people are facing. Overextended credit, fun before responsibility, etc. The only entitlement one should expect is equal opportunity. It is up to each of us to grab the opportunities as we see fit.
