+1000 on that Dilbert strip. In my place of Biz, we have engineers and scientists who do very little engineering or science work. It's all powerpointless this, and powerpointless that.
Comics from my youth, that I looked forward to:
-Terry and the Pirates.
-Dick Tracy. During the 60s, they had the Magnetic Space Coupes, lasers, and all sorts of cool stuff. Oh yeah, good bad guys too.
-Dondi.
-Prince Valiant. Still published, but not the same.
-Gasoline Alley. One of only two strips I can think of, where the characters aged and eventually died. The other is "For better or worse".
-Peanuts, back when they had "Pig Pen". (can't have Pig Pen now, thanks to the thought police)
