Bikes: surly cross check

The fenders are the easy part, they can be easily secured to seat stays and fork using p-clips. P-clips are readily available at most hardware stores, it's the kind of thing you would use to secure electrical conduit to a wall. Those should be plenty strong enough to hold fenders.

As for the fenders themselves, your sequoia doesn't look like it has a ton of room for fenders, but as long as you stick with a pretty small fender you should be able to cram them in there. I would suggest something in a polycarbonate so you can easily trim them without leaving sharp edges just in case you have to do some custom cuts. Maybe something like this http://ecom1.planetbike.com/7058_5.html

As for the rack, you could use a heavy duty version of the same p-clip, but in my experience they tend to slide down the tubing when loaded and unloaded daily.
