i am sorry to contradict you & it is a small point, but that stem is definitely not junk. i am using a zenith from velosolo, which is the same stem, & it is pretty stiff as quills go & the 2-bolt front clamp is nice cuz it makes it as easy to remove the bars as a threadless stem.
op...you oughta check out the se premium brew/ale. if you can get past its unusual paint scheme, it is practically same bike as the league & it comes with brakes & a fw - all for $50 less...
