Last summer after purchasing a cheapo commuter, I had the left hand side crank fall off my bike while I was chatting up this really nice looking female cyclist... needless to say that the most embarrassing moment was when she did a u-turn and returned with my crank and pedal in hand. Other than that, nothing has fallen off my recent quality commuter, except for some extra pounds around my waist! lol
