Today, on my way home, my wife called and said she was taking my daughter out to Panera for an early dinner. That meant I had at least an extra half hour, maybe more.

I immediately took a left turn and headed for the hills. An extra half hour meant that I got to get in some hill climbing and take a more scenic route home.
