Well, I probably would have gone with black saddle, tape and housing to match the graphics. But it also looks great the way you have it. That's a beauty.

Also, seems to me I had the same trouble with a Superbe fd and I'm having a hard time remembering how I solved it. I no longer have one...is it possible to remove the attachment bolt from the cage piece? I want to say I had to do that to get the cage to sit far enough onto the band stud, but I could be mis-remembering.
