Never had any bad luck riding or commuting. However a few months ago I was building up my running miles and needed to do my long run in the morning vs the evening due to a commitment later in the day and travel later in the week. Well, I was not feeling great at the start of the run and was hoping to improve after a quick warm up. I improved after the short 2 mile loop around the block and decided to do the remaining 8 miles as a loop around a park not far away. I made it to the park when it started. I had to stop in my tracks, my skin instantly went cold, my body had instant sweat. I look around and realize nothing is open at 5:30 am in downtown Atlanta and I was left to my primal instincts. I found shelter in a small wooded area and let nature take over. It was a very long walk home. Needless to say I was sick for 2 days, travel was cancled.
