Never said your roads are pristine or immaculate or what ever, just that they must be better than mine. I just like to ride safely around the roads here, I am pretty sure Portland streets are not the worst either. And I am not arguing with you, but having one flat and dozens of nicks and holes in my gatorskin at less than 900 miles. I am guessing they'll last another 1000 miles in my case despite tread life they have a lot more miles, maybe another 1500-2000 miles.
Trust me, I understand that except for when they're first made or have been resurfaced that there ain't no road out there that is "pristine." And that sadly thanks to that that we all ride roads that we wish were in better shape than what they are.
