Never said it was hard to believe.
Just that your roads are much better than mine.
I have had one flat and have several holes and nicks in mine about only <900 miles on mine. (front wheel). Gatorskins are good tires, but they're defiantly not miracle workers.
Yes, I keep them at 120psi. And I do pluck out glass, rocks, and other debris out on a regular basis.

Everything from twigs/branches/palm fronds to broken glass. I do my best to avoid the worst of it, but as I said I don't go to "heroic" efforts to avoid it.

Sadly, the roads that I ride are far from "pristine." There is plenty of debris on the roads that I ride on.

Never said your roads are pristine or immaculate or what ever, just that they must be better than mine. I just like to ride safely around the roads here, I am pretty sure Portland streets are not the worst either. And I am not arguing with you, but having one flat and dozens of nicks and holes in my gatorskin at less than 900 miles. I am guessing they'll last another 1000 miles in my case despite tread life they have a lot more miles, maybe another 1500-2000 miles.
