I've had my share of over the bars crashes, one pretty sick one during a century, and I've come out of them pretty much AOK, a little road rash from slidding, but no broken bones, knocked out teeth, or face burger. I guess bjj and all the inclass falling drills we do actually paid off, my instructor told me it would, but after rolling out of some crazy crashes unharmed, I'll have to believe her.
