While not a deal breaker for sure, I can buy a Shimano UN26 cartridge bb with English threading for $10. Velo Orange price on their French BB is $50. While Velo Orange charges just as much for their English BB as a French one, there are plentiful other options at a small fraction.

The V-O price is quite reasonable IMHO when you consider it is a small production part, and one made to replace parts that have been obsolete for 30 years. And on a high end bike like the PX10, you probably would not use a $10 bb anyway.
