I've had my Shimano R106's for about 6 months now and really like them. I had the low-end Shimano's for 5 years until I bought these and the difference was like night and day. Super still sole and I like the velcro and ratchet combination. I found mind in the "returns" bin at Performance for $90. MSRP is right at the $150 mark but a quick google search found a few deals.

By the way...this is one of the few cycling purchases that I'll buy in the store. Shoe fit is so important that I'll go try on a variety of shoes to make sure everything fits the way I want it to and then try to get the best deal I can from the LBS. If I pay a little over what I'd pay online, that's okay...I got good value for the extra bit.
