Congrats on the bike! I see you are new to the forums and when people want a "softer seat", I cringe. Getting used to a modern road bike takes time. Getting used to a new seat can take time. Softer is not better. The seat has to match your sit bones. Sheldon Brown's web site is full of useful info and there's an article about saddles: http://sheldonbrown.com/saddles.html I would give you butt a couple of weeks to adjust before looking at seats. Also consider small seat adjustments to see if those make a difference. A seat with the nose pointed up or down is not going to be comfortable. If you get to the point of wanting a new saddle, consider finding an LBS that offers demo seats. Some people have no problems with almost any seat, while other people never find the right seat.
