BTW, the standard links (i.e., not hollow pin links) that you see on the Regina Superleggera chain are original to the chain. The Superleggera comes with several of these links for installation and length adjustment. I actually took off several to make the chain short enough.

I was thinking exactly of those lugs but have never seen them in gold-plate, before...yowza! Stunning photos, as usual!
And thanks for correcting me re: the Regina chain, never having owned one I did not know that detail...we live and learn.
